Dingle is one of the pilot areas in a new national initiative to see how shared electric vehicle (EV) charging can improve EV access and use. Under the new scheme, people in the pilot locations can apply to have a charging unit installed free of charge, and can share that unit with neighbours and the wider public via the EasyGo platform.
