What’s happening in the Hub?

A move to Level 3 restrictions on Tuesday 1st December means that the Dingle Hub is now reopened to our regular clients. People are being asked to “work from home unless absolutely necessary to attend in person”. We are asking all of our community to respect these restrictions and limit use of services to times that are absolutely necessary and use a home alternative where possible. Meeting rooms and hot desks can only be made available for the provision of essential services. The team is still fully available remotely and eager to help make connections and identify opportunities for all of our community so please do continue to connect with us.

We welcomed the recent  announcement of funding for the Dingle Hub through the Enterprise Ireland Enterprise Centre Scheme. It is an understatement to say it’s been a difficult year for all businesses and
Government supports have been critical to enable us all to respond to the pandemic and the resulting  impacts of reduced income and increased operational costs. This scheme will enable us to continue working with you all to support enterprise and contribute to economic recovery on the Peninsula and to prepare us for the challenges and opportunities emerging from the transition to a low carbon economy. We look forward to what will hopefully be a much different year in 2021.

Congratulations to Dingle Lit Festival who put on a fantastic festival recently 20-22 November. We were delighted to host this virtual festival, which attracted huge numbers and was an outstanding model of how to run an online event. Thanks for reinvigorating us with the creative energy and inspiration. Looking forward to next year’s festival already.

Comhghairdeas le Féile Liteartha an Daingin a bhí ar siúl le déanaí 20-22 Mí na Samhna; bhíomar an-shásta tacaíocht a thabhairt don bhFéile agus a bheith mar lár-ionad rialaithe dos na ceardlanna agus imeachtaí a bheidh ar fad ar siúl ar líne, le údair agus lucht féachana ar fud an domhain.

Have you recently started working from here? Are you considering a part-time or permanent move to the Dingle Peninsula? Are you self-employed, remote working or a start-up business? Perhaps you are in a position within your business to bring remote working opportunities with you and build a team from here? We want to hear from you!! Please connect with us at info@dinglehub.com and help us build a vibrant, diverse and dynamic community and network. It’s not necessary to need a physical desk or office space in the hub to be part of this wider community. We’d also love you to connect with us on social media platforms – Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook.

Fánaigí slán, sábháilte.
Stay safe and well everyone.
