What’s happening in the Hub?
In June, the Dingle Creativity and Innovation Hub ran a collaborative workshop in association with Imagination of Things to imagine and shape new possibilities for the Dingle Peninsula. Members of the community from a range of different sectors joined us to unlock ideas to start shaping a new future. An overview of the workshop and the concepts that emerged can be found at www.dinglepeninsula2030.com/re-imagine The workshop was an important building block for the creation of a collective, inclusive vision for the peninsula. But it was just one part of the journey. We would now like to share those ideas with you and invite you to join us online on Tuesday, October 6th from 7-8pm to hear what is possible to enhance our community and our lives on this beautiful peninsula. So many of you have skills, expertise and networks that could help turn these ideas into reality and you would be very welcome to join this journey and contribute to an idea that is of interest to you. We are very aware of how the current situation has massively impacted musicians and artists. We are all looking at new ways to connect with the world and as such we’d love to hear from people in the creative sphere based on the Dingle Peninsula who may wish to use our boardroom/artists’ space/online workshop room to live stream, facilitate online workshops, etc. and avail of our 1Gb eir high-speed fibre broadband connection. We are open to collaborations and to support funding applications, ideas, etc. You can best reach us by email firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone 066-9150140.
Have you recently started working from here? Are you considering a part-time or permanent move to the Dingle Peninsula? Are you self-employed, remote working or a start-up business? Perhaps you are in a position within your business to bring remote working opportunities with you and build a team from here? We want to hear from you!! Please connect with us at email@example.com and help us build a vibrant, diverse and dynamic community and network. It’s not necessary to need a physical desk or office space in the hub to be part of this wider community. We’d also love you to connect with us on social media platforms – Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook. Anyone who wishes to use the facilities can book hot desk or conference room options online at www.dinglehub.com. The conference room can accommodate up to 3 people while maintaining social distancing. It is important to note that access to the Dingle Hub will be by prior appointment only for the duration of Covid-19 restrictions.
Fánaigí slán, sábháilte.
Stay safe and well everyone.
