What’s happening in the Hub?

What a year it’s been! We’re really heartened by the incredible community spirit here on the Dingle Peninsula, with huge focus on supporting local businesses and also collaborations that were borne out of the challenges that this year has brought.

We’re delighted to support the community and continue to work on our overall vision of supporting the creation of viable and sustainable jobs on the Dingle Peninsula; our Reimagine series of online workshops with our panel of great facilitators in our Hub Community focused on social media, podcast creation, wellbeing, speaking with confidence, reimagining the Peninsula, etc. Recordings are available on our website. If you’ve ideas/suggestions about how we can support you, do let us know.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank our fantastic hub clients and community, who make our office more than just a place to work and for helping out community reach much wider than the office (especially this year when our office went virtual for some of the year like so many other offices); we love how our office/community is a melting pot for bouncing ideas round, for encouragement, for collaborations, for chats over coffee that evolve into new businesses and projects, for light-bulb moments, for cross-pollination of creative and tech thinking, for making things happen. We’d also like to thank all the stakeholders and collaborators we’ve worked with in 2020, who supported us and helped us transform initial ideas into reality.
We’re very excited to be co-hosting a fabulous window display (along with Net Feasa) in our building in Cooleen designed by Pop-Up Parties’ magical visionary, Veronique – Santa’s & Elves’ Quarters. Lights will be on from this Friday 17th to 26th December from 5.30p.m. – 9p.m.

Have you recently started working from here? Are you considering a part-time or permanent move to the Dingle Peninsula? Are you self-employed, remote working or a start-up business? Perhaps you are in a position within your business to bring remote working opportunities with you and build a team from here? We want to hear from you!! Please connect with us at info@dinglehub.com and help us build a vibrant, diverse and dynamic community and network. It’s not necessary to need a physical desk or office space in the hub to be part of this wider community. We’d also love you to connect with us on social media platforms – Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook.

We’d like to wish you all a peaceful and happy Christmas and New Year and we look forward to welcoming you in 2021.

Nollaig Shona agus Bliain Nua Faoi Mhaise daoibh; táimid ag súil go mór le fáilte a chur romhaibh i 2021.
