What’s happening in the Hub?

Hope you are all well and enjoyed the fab weather, though the Scairbhín has come to greet us, that too shall pass as they say.

Congratulations to Féile na Bealtaine on pulling together a fantastic festival, bringing a smile to many people’s faces over the Bank Holiday weekend. How uplifting it was to see art pop up around the peninsula and it reminded us again as ever how vital our artists, musicians, creative community are and all who support the work they do. Looking forward to seeing more pop-up Féile events over the month of May.

We were delighted to get the opportunity to showcase some of the creative projects we’ve been involved in, shown on the big screens in Holyground, Dingle and in Ventry over the Bank Holiday weekend for Féile. You can watch our young animator masterpieces back on our YouTube channel and website.

We also premiered an interview we did with Hollywood Casting Director, Ros Hubbard, (the original interview happened as part of Féile na Bealtaine 2019). You can watch back on our Facebook and YouTube channels and on our website. Huge thanks to you, Ros; we very much appreciate your time, great insights and advice.

We’re flying with our ‘Dingle Adapts’ InstaLive series; Huge thanks to all nine guests to date, including the most recent guests Orla Gowen, head baker and owner of Bácús Bhréanainn and Róisin and Jim from Siopa Uí Lúing. You can watch back all on our IGTV and on Facebook. Be sure to pop in to IG Live session next week when we’ll be chatting to Martin Bealin from Global Village.

Fuaireamar aiseolas iontach faoin sraith IG beoshruthaithe, ‘Corca Dhuibhne ag dul in Oiriúint’. Míle buíochas leis na haíonna ar fad agus na haíonna is déanaí Orla Gowen ó Bhácús Bhréanainn agus Róisín agus Jim ó Shiopa Uí Lúing. Buail isteach an tseachtain seo chugainn nuair a bheimid ag caint le Martin Bealin ó Global Village.

Have you recently started working from here? Are you considering a part-time or permanent move to the Dingle Peninsula? Are you self-employed, remote working or a start-up business? Perhaps you are in a position within your business to bring remote working opportunities with you and build a team from here? We want to hear from you!! Please connect with us at info@dinglehub.com and help us build a vibrant, diverse and dynamic community and network. It’s not necessary to need a physical desk or office space in the hub to be part of this wider community. We’d also love you to connect with us on social media platforms – Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook.
